i had the most interesting sunday so far. went to see Sex and the City
with a friend at the cinema FINALLY! cried and laughed my head off,
loved the script, it’s truly an SATC script to the end! and oh…
there were quite a number of sex scenes UNCENSORED esp by Samantha’s neighbours,
i was kinda blown away hahahahaha. the 4 gals looked damn gorgeous esp
carrie and samantha
the theater building is near a park in Mountain View. after the movie,
we took a short drive round the area on a lookout for Google. they
have so many buildings all over! then, stopped by a park nearby with a
lake – Shoreline Lake.
there were ppl sailing, golfing, biking. loveliest breeze. there’s a
small Victorian house nearby but it’s closed for house tour cos of the
time. they were fully booked every weekend for weddings.
after that, drove over to Stanford Uni. this time i managed to see the
actual campus ground in a car (impossible to cover so much ground on
foot/bike) – the incubators section where the students will pitch
their ideas to those venture-capitalists, the dorms, the interesting
looking fraternity houses, saw “hoover tower” from a distance and
passed by the shopping area – quite posh.
Next stop – Palo Alto downtown for dinner. Checked into the famous The
Cheesecake Factory. Had the most scrumptious pasta cooked with cajun
sauce, tomato, chicken, shrimps – absolutely fresh! Of course they’re
famous for cheesecake, so ordered a Kahlua chocolate – melts in your
mouth *stomach growling*
On the way home to Fremont, drove on the Dumbarton bridge to cross
back to the east side of the Bay (no toll this way) and we called it a
night
Am planning my visit to San Fran this Friday. Aunty gave me a guide
brochure www.sfguide.com. Gonna check out the Barbary Coast walk trail and
museums and art centres and cafes and victorian houses and take a
sunset cruise. Hopefully i can do everything in 1 day!
